Success Stories

Every dog has a story. Here are a few of my favourites.

Teddy
Airedale Terrier • Macedon
★★★★★ Google
"We have been using Crazy Kind Calm training for just under two months now and the difference in our 6yo Airedale Teddy has been absolutely amazing. We were having all sorts of problems with Teddy being overly excitable with people and aggressive towards other dogs when out for a walk. Natalie has taught us a whole range of techniques to help manage Teddy's behaviours and reduce her stress levels. Teddy is so much calmer and happier these days and we are continuing to work on her excitement levels. We highly recommend Crazy Kind Calm!"

"Massive thank you to Natalie for her professional and unique service on training and obedience techniques to assist Sadie and myself a couple of weeks ago. Natalie has given me confidence to pursue her kind and calm approach and providing specific techniques to work in with our busy lifestyle and still getting a positive result. Thanks again Natalie. Kind regards, Karina, Tom, Leyla and Sadie."

"This is the second dog we have trained through Nat. Her calmness and her attention to detail is what we love. She is extremely patient with us which can be a huge help when we feel like we are failing. Our dogs are happier and there was no punishing or upsetting with any of our dogs so they still love us and there is no fear just respect and love. We appreciate Nat and her commitment beyond words and we have and will continue to recommend her to any and all who listen."

Certified ProDog Trainer ✓

Hi, I'm Nat

I've been where you are – overwhelmed, frustrated, wondering if things will ever get better. I understand how you're feeling, and I can help you get through it. I know how it feels when your dog pulls so hard your hands are sore, or when they bark at every single thing that moves.

That's why I became a dog trainer. I use kind, positive methods that actually work – games that build your relationship while teaching your dog the skills they need.

How It Works

1

Get in Touch

Get in touch or send an enquiry. We'll have a quick chat about what's going on with your dog.

2

Initial Session

I'll come to your home, meet your dog, and we'll get started straight away with practical training.

3

Train Together

I'll teach you the games and techniques. You practice between sessions. Your dog transforms.

Can Training Really Help?

My dog is really reactive – can you help?

+
Absolutely. Reactivity is one of the most common things I help with. Whether your dog barks at other dogs, lunges at bikes, or goes mental when someone knocks at the door – there are strategies that work. It takes patience and consistency, but dogs can and do change.

Is my dog too old to train?

+
Not at all! While puppies do learn quickly, older dogs are absolutely capable of learning new behaviours. I've worked with dogs of all ages, and they can all make progress. It's never too late to help your dog.

Do you use treats?

+
Yes! Treats, toys, play, and praise are all part of my toolkit. I use whatever motivates your individual dog. The goal is to make training fun and rewarding – that's how dogs learn best.

How many sessions will I need?

+
It depends on the dog and the challenges you're facing. Some people see big changes after just one or two sessions. Others benefit from ongoing support. We'll figure out what works best for you.

What areas do you cover?

+
I work throughout the Macedon Ranges including Kyneton, Woodend, Macedon, Gisborne, Riddells Creek, Sunbury, and surrounding areas. Puppy school runs from McIntyre Vets in Kyneton.
