With over 900 dogs trained across the Macedon Ranges, Natalie understands the unique personality and needs that come with this wonderful breed.
English Cocker Spaniels are merry, affectionate dogs bred as gundogs for flushing game. They're known for their perpetually wagging tails and soft, gentle nature — though they have more energy and drive than their sweet faces might suggest.
English Cocker owners are blessed with one of the most joyful breeds around — that tail never stops. But behind the happy exterior is a dog with genuine working drive who needs their brain and body exercised. If your Cocker vanishes nose-first into every bush on walks, bounces off the walls before dinner, or gets a bit growly over their food bowl — these are breed traits, not personality flaws. Cockers love to work with you and respond wonderfully to training.
Whether your English Cocker Spaniel is a new puppy or an older dog with some habits to work on, we've got options to suit.

Learn more →"Cannot recommend enough! Natalie has helped us work with not one, but 2 family dogs. Our first was a rescue with sever behavioral problems and now we are currently working on our very big and cheeky deerhound puppy. Her expertise in all areas of dog behavior is amazing and her techniques are positive, make sense and she always takes the time to explain why and how a particular technique will help. We are so happy to have Natalie teaching us what a true dog/human partnership is."

"We were close to the end of our tether when we contacted Natalie to see if she could assist with our young, antisocial JR terrier. Natalie has helped us to better understand the behaviours and motivations of our pups, and how to navigate and manage situations that cause angst for both pups and humans alike. Natalie has worked with us on manageable training tasks to improve behaviours in a range of real-life situations. Our relationships with our pups, and quality of life for all of us, are now much improved. I highly recommend Natalie's approach and philosophy - it's made a positive difference for us."

"Nat knows her stuff and explains it in clear and really easily adoptable instructions. She has helped immensely with our pup who has a bit of anxiety around socialisation so that now we can walk calmly and it's great to have her at the end of emails to answer anything that comes up. Highly recommend Nat's approach, it's made a world of difference!"
